Job Description

The Karamoja Safari Camp is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Staff. As a cornerstone of our guest experience, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay for our visitors. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality in a warm, welcoming, and adventurous environment. Our team is dedicated to showcasing the beauty and culture of the Karamoja region while providing world-class service. If you thrive in a dynamic setting and have a genuine passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences, we invite you to join our team at Karamoja Safari Camp.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Guest services

  • Welcome and register arriving guests, ensuring a warm and efficient check-in process.
  • Assist guests with check-out procedures, collecting payments and finalizing accounts.
  • Manage guest room assignments and key distribution.
  • Provide accurate information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests.

Billing and Payments:

  • Process guest payments efficiently and accurately using various methods (cash, credit card, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and billing information.
  • Generate and issue guest bills.
  • Reconcile daily cash drawers and ensure financial accuracy.

Complaint Resolution:

  • Listen attentively to guest concerns and complaints.
  • Work effectively to resolve guest issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate personnel where necessary.
  • Document all guest interactions accurately and maintain clear records.
