Job Description
The Institute of Green Growth Solutions is looking for qualified and highly experienced individuals to fill the position of a Forest Officer. The successful candidate will lead, plan, and supervise reforestation projects aimed at restoring degraded landscapes and enhancing forest cover.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and supervise reforestation projects aimed at restoring degraded landscapes and enhancing forest cover.
- Coordinate the implementation of reforestation activities, ensuring the selection of appropriate tree species.
- Oversee site preparation, planting, and maintenance to support long-term ecosystem recovery.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring environmental compliance, and promoting sustainable land-use practices.
- Work with local communities, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Safeguard biodiversity, improve soil health, and support climate resilience across project areas.
