Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise the heavy repair and overhaul of locomotives, wagons, and rolling stock
- Plan and schedule repair work to minimise asset downtime
- Lead and manage workshop artisans and technicians
- Ensure all repairs are carried out to required technical standards and specifications
- Maintain accurate repair records, job cards, and maintenance logs
- Monitor spare parts usage and raise timely requisitions
- Enforce workshop safety standards and practices
