In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Fleet Artisan based at our Mbarara Plant to join our dynamic Logistics team.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Fleet and CDE Planner, the Fleet Artisan will be responsible for ensuring the operational availability and reliability of the company’s fleet through high-quality maintenance, repairs, root cause analysis, and compliance with Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda's (CCBU) fleet policy.

How to Apply
Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance in line with the CCBU maintenance schedule and standards.
Assess maintenance requests, execute repairs, and document any additional defects identified.
Provide technical feedback to the Fleet Maintenance Planner after completing jobs.
Complete and close work orders, ensuring driver feedback and supervisor sign-off.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the workshop, tools, and equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis for the top five breakdowns weekly and implement corrective actions.
Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and on-road emergencies.
Maintain detailed service and repair records and provide regular vehicle condition reports.
Assist in scheduling and executing preventive maintenance plans.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and report all necessary repairs.
Ensure all vehicles meet safety, legal, and operational standards.
Support implementation of the Food Safety Management System, and report any food safety, defense, or fraud concerns to the SHEQ Manager.
Minimum: Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an FMCG environment.
Practical knowledge in the repair and maintenance of light and heavy motor vehicles is essential.
