Job Description
As Financial Manager I, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and decision-making support. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, financial forecasting, variance analysis, system optimisation, and tax compliance. The position will require leadership in managing people, processes, and financial systems, ensuring efficient planning, resource utilisation, and alignment with organisational objectives.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to deliver financial insights for strategic decision-making
Monitor, evaluate, and coach teams to enhance service delivery and client experience
Manage financial information systems and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitor variance reporting
Analyse cost structures and implement cost control measures
Oversee preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Maximise productivity through optimal planning of people and processes
Ensure effective project planning by managing data, systems, and resource interrelations
Review and submit accurate tax returns, ensuring regulatory compliance
Foster a knowledge-sharing and performance-driven culture
Drive skills development, succession planning, and employee performance management
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or CIMA qualification
Experience:
3–5 years of post-qualification experience in finance
Experience within the financial services industry is highly advantageous
Competencies:
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
Leadership and team management capabilities
Sound knowledge of financial systems and reporting standards
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively
Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
High levels of integrity and accountability
