Job Description
- Spread and analyze customer financial statements on Credit Quest for all segments (Retail, Corporate, and Mortgage) to support accurate credit appraisal.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS standards for all submitted financial statements and advise clients, auditors, and accountants on corrective actions where necessary.
- Extract and validate key lending ratios and cash flows with 100% accuracy to enable sound credit decisioning.
- Verify authenticity of credit documents and client information, including financial statements, contracts, invoices, KYC documents, and bank statements, in collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Spread and analyze customer financial statements on Credit Quest for all segments (Retail, Corporate, and Mortgage) to support accurate credit appraisal.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS standards for all submitted financial statements and advise clients, auditors, and accountants on corrective actions where necessary.
- Extract and validate key lending ratios and cash flows with 100% accuracy to enable sound credit decisioning.
- Verify authenticity of credit documents and client information, including financial statements, contracts, invoices, KYC documents, and bank statements, in collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Conduct business visits to client premises to confirm details presented in credit applications.
- Perform fraud checks and identify discrepancies in application documents, escalating issues promptly to the sanctioning authority.
- Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) by adhering to established workflows and turnaround times for financial spreading and document verification.
- Respond to inquiries and provide technical guidance to credit analysts and business teams on financial analysis and Credit Quest usage.
- Deliver training sessions on financial statement analysis and system usage for credit and business teams.
- Communicate financial spreads /reports to the various users for further actioning.
