Ensure that all Payments, Postings, Reconciliations and books of original entry are processed and maintained in accordance to COU-TEDDO policies and procedures

  • Receive and process expense forms and requests for payments

  • Prepare cheques for payments.

  • To input data into financial related databases.

  • Prepare Reconciliations, review locally recoverable items, imprest summaries and funding sheet summaries.

  • To code and post all financial transactions in QuickBooks and other accounting packages.

  • Carry out cash payments and disbursements in the office, during Trainings and or during other technical activities.

  • With guidance by the Finance Officer of COU-TEDDO prepare periodic project financial reports in accordance with COU-TEDDO and donor requirements.

  • Ensure safe custody of an adequate petty cash float, stationery, and other office equipment to be issued in accordance with COU-TEDDO guidelines.

  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Studies or Commerce or a related field with at least One Year Hands on Experience or A diploma in Business Studies (UDBS),

  • Business Administration or a related field with at least 3 years of Hands on Experience.

  • Working knowledge in Quick Books Accounting package is A MUST.
