About the Role
Africa Biosystems Uganda Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our technical team in Kampala. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of laboratory and biotech equipment—both on-site and remotely. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high equipment uptime and customer satisfaction through responsive support and technical excellence.

How to Apply
Install, service, and maintain laboratory and biotech equipment in various customer settings.
Provide technical support and user training to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize downtime.
Promote service contracts and identify potential sales opportunities during site visits.
Manage spare parts inventory and maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years in a field service or technical support role, ideally within the biomedical, laboratory, or biotech sector.
Proven experience troubleshooting electromechanical and software-controlled scientific instruments.
Strong understanding of laboratory equipment and bioprocess environments.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
