Job Description

The Field Sales Representative will work directly with wholesalers, business owners, and key opinion leaders to promote Amanbo’s import solutions. The role involves prospecting, conducting product presentations, negotiating deals, and closing sales. The representative will also support clients through the import process, including financing options where applicable. Success in this position will be measured by client acquisition, retention, and revenue generation.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential clients, including wholesalers and business owners.

  • Promote Amanbo’s import services and value proposition through meetings and presentations.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business.

  • Provide expert guidance on import processes and available credit/loan sales options.

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

  • Tailor solutions to meet specific client needs and support long-term client success.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B wholesale operations with a strong client network.

  • At least 1 year of hands-on field sales experience.

  • Knowledge of import procedures, especially from China.

  • Excellent knowledge of the Nairobi market and regional trade dynamics.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Self-driven and able to work independently or in a team setting.
