In this role your primary duty is to oversee the collection, verification, and management of project field data ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established protocols. This position involves a blend of field coordination, data management, and GIS expertise to support the operational and strategic goals of our projects.
The results of your work are: High-quality project data maintained in databases, adhering strictly to standards, methodologies, and procedures. Accurate and timely delivery of project data, contributing to the project’s success.

Data Management & Quality Control: Ensure meticulous handling of field data - from receipt and compilation in relevant databases to quality verification against standards for accuracy, completeness, and adherence.
GIS Expertise: Utilize GPS data to craft KML polygons for GIS processing, displaying proficiency with Google Earth or similar systems.
Field Coordination: Actively participate with field teams in training sessions and stakeholder meetings, documenting essential information and fostering communication to complete necessary administration for project units.
Capacity Building: Enhance field teams' operational capabilities through targeted training and support, ensuring the organization's objectives are met efficiently.
Senior Management Support: Provide comprehensive in-country data support, facilitating informed decision-making and operational excellence.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets/Docs. Expertise in working with GPS coordinates and familiarity with GIS software for .kml polygon creation.
Data Management: Demonstrated ability to manage large data volumes with a keen eye for quality control and process optimization.
Communication: Fluency in English and at least one local language, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Mobility: Willingness to travel to field locations within the country as required.
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Data Management, or a related field is preferred.
