Job Description
The consultants will work with DSIK and partner financial institutions—including commercial banks, development banks, central banks, MFIs, SACCOs, fintechs, leasing and factoring companies, and non-bank financial intermediaries—to support financial inclusion and institutional development. Assignments may involve strengthening governance and regulatory frameworks, developing financial products, promoting MSME growth and entrepreneurship, supporting sustainable and green finance initiatives, enhancing access for underserved groups, and leveraging digital solutions for financial services. The pool will allow DSIK to match advisors to assignments based on their expertise, scope, and complexity.

Depending on assignment, consultants may:
Strengthen institutional capacities and governance in financial institutions.
Support regulatory framework development and financial sector reforms.
Design and implement financial products tailored to diverse client needs.
Facilitate growth and resilience of MSMEs and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Promote sustainable finance, including climate risk management and green lending.
Enhance financial inclusion for women, youth, rural populations, and other underserved groups.
Support digital transformation of financial services (e.g., core banking systems, fintech solutions).
Build capacity of partner institutions through training and technical assistance.

University degree (minimum Bachelor) in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in African financial institutions or advisory roles.
Proven expertise in one or more of the following: financial sector development, MSME growth, inclusive finance, sustainable finance, digitalization.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to work independently and solution-oriented.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills.
