Job Description
The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, management oversight, and institutional direction for Batwa Development Program, ensuring the organisation delivers on its mission to advance the rights and welfare of the Batwa indigenous community in Uganda.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the organisation.
- Oversee programme design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Lead fundraising, donor relations, and resource mobilisation efforts.
- Represent the organisation to government, donors, partners, and the public.
- Manage the senior leadership team and ensure strong organisational governance.
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reports to the Board of Directors.
