Job Description
The Event Assistant will oversee the end-to-end planning and implementation of events, liaising with clients to understand their needs, developing event concepts, managing vendor relationships, executing communication strategies, and ensuring smooth logistical support. The role demands flexibility, creativity, and strong organizational skills to meet client expectations and ensure the sustainability and growth of the events department.

How to Apply
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, partners, and clients
Prepare and execute event contracts, ensuring client needs and terms are met
Liaise with clients to understand event objectives, budgets, and preferences
Create detailed event proposals and timelines
Engage in promotional and marketing activities for events
Plan and implement events for various audiences (individual, corporate, virtual, hybrid)
Develop full communications and strategy plans for each event
Draft creative event concepts and themes
Design event programs based on client specifications
Provide logistical and operational support before, during, and after events
Manage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Coordinate production of event materials and promotional packs
Ensure proper event setup, execution, and teardown
Seek sponsorship opportunities and explore revenue-generating ideas
Address and resolve event-related issues
Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback
Maintain vendor relationships and oversee all event logistics
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Hospitality, Communication, or related field
Certification in event planning is an added advantage
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corporate events
Key Competencies:
High creativity and concept planning skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Commercial acumen and attention to detail
Conflict resolution and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
Exceptional customer service skills
Flexibility to travel and work in dynamic environments
