Job Description
Haven of Peace Academy (HOPAC) is seeking a dedicated ESL Teacher to create a supportive, Christ-centered learning environment for English Language Learners. The successful candidate will help students develop essential language skills across Kindergarten to Grade 12 while actively supporting the school's evangelical Christian ethos.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning differentiated instruction
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Collaborating with classroom teachers
- Maintaining an organized and engaging classroom
- Integrating technology to support learning
- Communicating effectively with parents and school leadership
- Actively support the school’s evangelical Christian ethos
- Participate in staff meetings, prayer times, and professional development activities
