Job Description
The Enrolled Nurse in Medical ICU supports critical care delivery by assisting with patient assessments, procedures, monitoring, and documentation. The role includes identifying, preventing, and reporting risks; maintaining accurate records of all nursing interventions; ensuring all utilised stock/equipment is correctly managed and charged; and contributing to a learning environment that builds staff competence and supports best clinical outcomes.

Required Education: Enrolled Nurse CertificateDesired Education: CPD courses in relevant speciality (for specialised wards)
Experience:
Essential: None specified
Desired: ±1 year post-qualification experience prior to placement in a specialised unit
Skills & Knowledge:
Basic Life Support; infection prevention & control; pharmacology
Scientific nursing principles and process; patient assessment
Nursing processes and procedures; nursing care plan skills
Relevant nursing legislation; risk identification
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
