Job Description
Provide perioperative support within the cardiac theatre by assisting with patient preparation, theatre procedures, and postoperative handovers. Identify, prevent, and report clinical risks; maintain accurate, comprehensive nursing documentation; ensure all utilised stock/equipment is correctly managed and charged; and help foster a learning environment that builds team competence and a positive patient experience.

How to Apply
Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure patient safety

Maintain accurate records of all nursing interventions
Contribute to a learning culture that builds staff competence
Ensure correct charging and management of utilised stock and equipment
Required Education: Enrolled Nurse CertificateDesired Education: CPD courses in relevant speciality (for specialised wards)
Experience:
Essential: None specified
Desired: ~1 year post-qualification experience prior to placement in a specialised unit
Skills & Knowledge:
Basic Life Support; infection prevention & control; pharmacology
Scientific nursing principles and processes; patient assessment
Theatre nursing processes and procedures; nursing care plan skills
Relevant nursing legislation; risk identification
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
