Job Description
The Electrician will be responsible for executing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure uninterrupted factory operations. This includes handling electrical wiring, installing safety and distribution equipment, performing inspections and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimizing downtime and promoting safe and efficient electrical operations within the factory.

How to Apply
Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercoms, and factory systems
Install and maintain electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment including alarms and sensors
Install safety components such as switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels
Connect wiring in circuits and networks ensuring component compatibility
Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
Conduct routine inspections to identify old or faulty wiring and perform replacements
Clean circuits and maintain insulation of cables to prevent system breakdown
Perform troubleshooting to identify electrical hazards or malfunctions and conduct repairs
Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal guidelines

Education:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant vocational training
Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship is an added advantage
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years working experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial or commercial environment
Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in using electrical and hand tools (e.g., voltmeter, wire strippers)
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Physically fit and willing to work long hours or overnight shifts as needed
