Job Description
As an Electrician (Elektroniker), the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems such as photovoltaic (solar) installations, power distribution networks, lighting systems, and heat pumps. Additional responsibilities include implementing protective measures against electrical hazards such as electric shocks and overvoltage.
Training will be provided on-site at active construction locations and through formal vocational institutions in Germany. Selected candidates will benefit from a structured program that includes German language instruction, internationally recognized technical certification, and long-term career development in the energy and utilities industry.
This is a work-based program with full visa sponsorship and integration support.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Install and maintain electrical systems, including photovoltaic and lighting networks
Conduct regular inspections and safety checks
Implement protective measures against electrical hazards
Work with advanced technologies related to energy and utility systems
Operate in accordance with German electrical and safety regulations
Participate in structured vocational training
Collaborate with site teams and engineers in executing technical tasks
Complete German language training to B1 level

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
Ugandan citizenship with National ID and valid passport (mandatory for visa)
At least 2 years of experience in electrical or related technical fields
Technical or vocational training in electrical work
Completed O-Level or A-Level education
Sound understanding of electrical technologies and safety standards
Good physical health and ability to pass a medical examination
No criminal record (for visa processing)
Commitment to complete German language training to B1 level
Responsible, motivated, and team-oriented
Must submit a self-video (maximum 60 seconds) explaining why you should be selected
