Job Description
Plan and execute installation, repairs, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and apparatus, Main Power Distribution Systems, construction projects & HVAC systems and to adhere to safety and operating procedures of electrical maintenance.

Grade: M1
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain complex electrical systems (both hardware & software) for the site to support optimum production throughputs, costs, and quality.
- Carry out repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Diagnose malfunctions and report to the Electrical Supervisor to arrange for corrective maintenance.
- Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment where need be.
- Makes requisitions for electrical materials required.
- Plan and develop work schedules, equipment usage schedules and procedure for equipment and appliance maintenance.
- Monitor the acquisition and use of materials.
- Promote and maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Assist Electrical Supervisor in design requirement.
- Calculate electrical loads and make sure they meet set standards.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
