How to Apply
Interpret and apply policies related to training and development.
Develop training and development plans based on identified needs.
Assess the capacity and standards of nursing and midwifery training institutions.
Provide technical input in curriculum reviews and program development.
Organize and facilitate training programs, workshops, study tours, and attachments.
Monitor and evaluate training activities to ensure effectiveness and compliance with standards.
Prepare and submit periodic reports with recommendations for improvements and best practices.
Assist in developing and administering test items for online pre-licensure exams and interviews.
Conduct research and analyze data on best practices in education, training, and registration.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery.
Diploma in Health Tutorship or Medical Education from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience as a Nursing Officer or Health Tutor in a recognized nursing or health training institution.
