Job Description
You will meet with college lecturers to review this term's results of a blended continuous professional development package for school leaders and O-level teachers.
You will prepare activity sheets and accompanying budgets for a capacity development trajectory on blended learning design for college lecturers and discuss your ideas with your Project Coordinator and Education Manager.

Together with college lecturers you will prototype and pilot EdTech solutions and ensure participant feedback is gathered to support decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities
Instructional Design:
Develop and design curricula, courses, and instructional materials for blended learning environments.
Apply instructional design theories, principles, and best practices to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
Use a variety of multimedia tools and technologies to create interactive and accessible content.
Blended Learning Implementation:
Design and implement blended learning strategies that integrate face-to-face instruction with online components.
Develop and manage online learning environments, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Ensure that blended learning programs meet educational standards and learning objectives.
Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of course content.
Update and revise curricula based on feedback, research, and changing educational needs.
Align curricula with institutional goals, industry standards, and accreditation requirements.
Faculty Training and Support:
Provide training and professional development for educators on instructional design and blended learning techniques.
Offer ongoing support and resources to faculty for integrating technology into their teaching practices.
Facilitate workshops, webinars, and training sessions to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop and implement assessment tools to measure student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
Analyze assessment data to improve instructional strategies and learning materials.
Use evaluation results to refine and enhance blended learning programs.
Technology Integration:
Stay current with emerging educational technologies and trends in blended learning.
Recommend and implement technological solutions to enhance learning experiences.
Ensure that technology is effectively integrated into the curriculum and accessible to all students.
Project Management:
Lead and manage projects related to instructional design and blended learning initiatives.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including administrators, educators, and IT staff, to ensure project success.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet organizational goals.
Research and Innovation:
Conduct research on best practices in instructional design and blended learning.
Explore and implement innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
Share findings and insights through publications, presentations, and professional networks.

Qualifications and Competencies
Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
Doctoral degree or additional certifications in relevant areas are advantageous.
Experience:
Several years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational technology.
Experience with blended learning environments and online education platforms.
Experience in higher education or K-12 education settings is desirable.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of instructional design models and principles (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy).
Proficiency in using LMS platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle) and other educational technologies.
Expertise in multimedia design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge:
Understanding of current trends and best practices in blended learning and educational technology.
Familiarity with assessment and evaluation methods in education.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices to ensure inclusive learning environments.
