Heifer International
The role of the driver will be to support Helfer International and is Implementing partner organizations to successfully implement the BAYE project in the Busoga region by ensuring proper maintenance of vehicles, safe and timely transportation of project officers, visitors, goods as well as running office errands
He/She will work closely with the cluster administrative assistants to ensure that all permits and insurance are kept up to date.
Remuneration Package and Benefits Our package includes a competitive salary, heath Insurance cover for up to 4 biological legally adopted children, comprehensive 24-hour group personal accident cover, global employee life insurance which covers our employees against death by any cause, provident fund of a monthly employer contribution of 10% of the employee's basic salary and access to low interest loans from the Staff Savings and Credit Cooperative Scheme.

A good driver is confident in their abilities and judgment. They can handle different road conditions, weather and vehicles. They do not panic or overreact in stressful situations. They also know their limits and seek help when needed.
Responsibility:
A good driver is responsible for their own safety and the safety of others. They follow the speed limit, wear seat belts, check their mirrors and blind spots, and keep their vehicle in good condition. They also avoid driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or fatigue.
Learning:
A good driver is always willing to learn and improve their driving skills. They keep themselves updated on the latest traffic laws, regulations and technologies. They also seek feedback from others and learn from their mistakes.
