Job Description
The Driver will be responsible for providing reliable and courteous transportation services to staff and visitors, ensuring vehicle maintenance, observing road safety regulations, and keeping accurate records of trips and vehicle conditions. The role includes compiling timely reports, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, and maintaining critical vehicle documents.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Drive vehicles as per approved routes and authorized trips.
Ensure the safety of all passengers by promoting and reminding them of safety practices.
Observe and report any vehicle malfunctions and ensure vehicles are serviced and maintained on schedule.
Keep vehicles clean and in satisfactory condition at all times.
Compile and submit periodical vehicle reports timely and accurately.
Adhere strictly to organizational and program road safety regulations.
Maintain proper documentation of all key vehicle documents, ensuring they are duly signed and updated.
Support field staff who are frequent vehicle users by facilitating their transport needs.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Education, Training, License, Registration, and Certification:
Valid Class C (C1, C2, C3) driving license.
Secondary Education (Form Four) with an Advanced Driving Certificate from NIT or VETA.
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement:
Ability to drive on both smooth and rough roads.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically fit.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in both English and Swahili.
