Job Description
The Driver will provide reliable transportation services for staff, visitors, and goods in a safe and timely manner. The role involves regular vehicle maintenance, ensuring adherence to all traffic regulations, and offering support in logistics and administrative tasks as needed. The Driver must maintain vehicle logbooks, assist in errands such as procurement runs, and keep all vehicle documentation updated. The position requires coordination with the Procurement and Logistics Assistant and a proactive attitude toward road safety, vehicle care, and professional conduct.

How to Apply
Transport staff, visitors, and goods safely and efficiently
Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off for official functions and field visits
Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights) and maintain cleanliness
Monitor and schedule vehicle servicing and necessary repairs
Maintain accurate records for mileage, fuel, and service history
Adhere to all traffic and safety laws and Trees for the Future policies
Ensure valid insurance, registration, and licensing documents are on board
Report all incidents, accidents, and mechanical issues promptly
Support logistics and administrative functions when required
Keep detailed and updated logbooks for all vehicle movements
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Valid Uganda driver’s license with a clean driving record (Required)
Minimum of 4 years’ professional driving experience, preferably with an NGO or corporate organization
Familiarity with Uganda’s road networks and traffic regulations
Basic mechanical knowledge to address minor vehicle issues
Good spoken and written English
Reliable, well-organized, and punctual
Ability to work independently and in a team
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
