The Driver will be responsible for the safe transportation of HAC staff and materials, care and maintenance of the HAC vehicle and their accessories.

How to Apply
The driver will:
Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of the HAC vehicle (complete service request forms and maintain service maintenance records) report in case of any mechanical problems.
Ensure the vehicle is insured and all legal documents are in order at all times; inform supervisor three weeks in advance of any renewals due (i.e. insurance, road license, etc.).
Drive HAC staff in a safe and courteous manner to field sites across Masaka, Rakai, Kalangala, and Lwengo.
Deliver mail/messages as directed.
Maintain cleanliness of the interior/exterior of the vehicle
Background & Qualifications
Required
Minimum Ordinary Level Certificate: A- Level Certificate is an added advantage; Valid driver’s license class (Class is B Preferred)
Minimum of two (2) years’ driving experience preferably with NGOs.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
Flexible and able to work in a dynamic and diverse environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Compensation
This position is designed as a full-time position. Compensation is UGX.800,000/= per month before taxes. Insurance, Field travel expenses will be paid for by Health Access Connect.
