Bwindi Mgahinga Conservation Trust (BMCT) was established in 1994, with the major aim of providing long-term reliable support for projects promoting research, conservation of biological diversity and sustainable use of natural resources in the two parish radius around Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (MGNP) and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (BINP) while at the same time promoting the well-being of these communities.

Job Summary: BMCT wishes to fill the vacancy of Driver in its Kabale office.
To safely drive as authorized and maintain in a sound mechanical condition assigned BMCT vehicles.

Prospective candidates should submit the following
A cover letter (hand written)
Certified copies of academic documents
Certified copies of professional qualifications
A copy of your National ID
A recent colored passport size photograph
A recommendation letter from LCI Chairperson

How to Apply
Keep the vehicles in sound mechanical condition
Keep the log books up-to-date.
Drive safely BMCT vehicles.
Ensure that the vehicles assigned to him/her are kept clean both the exterior and interior.
Ensure that the vehicles under his/her care are serviced in time.
Ensure that the assigned BMCT vehicles are not driven by unauthorised persons
Ensure that the assigned BMCT vehicles are parked by 5:00pm at designated places unless authorised by Trust Administrator/ Programme Manager
Carry out any other duties assigned by Trust Administrator.

Minimum of O-level certificate with good spoken and written English and having a valid driving permit for motor cars and light commercial vehicles [ at least three Classes B, B-E, C and D-1],
Driving experience of at least 10 years (will be an added advantage)
NGO working experience, Possession of defensive driving certificate and/or a certificate in mechanics will be an added advantage Age range 35-55 years
