The Driver I will operate vehicles assigned by the University, ensure vehicles are well-maintained, and adhere to road safety rules and institutional guidelines. The role requires careful planning, accurate record-keeping, and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations.

How to Apply
Safely drive university vehicles for official assignments.
Perform routine checks before trips, including fuel, oil, water, tires, and brakes.
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Report mechanical issues and ensure vehicles are serviced as scheduled.
Keep vehicles clean and in roadworthy condition.
Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and road safety standards.
Report accidents or incidents promptly as per university policy.
Support logistical functions as needed.

KCSE Mean Grade of D- (minus).
Valid driving license with at least three (3) years’ experience in Grade 3.
Suitability Test I for drivers.
Occupational Trade Test II for drivers.
Defensive Driving Certificate.
First Aid Certificate.
Certificate of Good Conduct.
Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics is an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal, safety awareness, and time management skills.
