Job Description
The Driver will safely operate company vehicles, ensure routine checks and maintenance, and comply with traffic regulations. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and records, and performing additional duties as assigned to support organizational logistics.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Daily check of mechanical condition of the vehicle assigned to be driven and report any mechanical fault immediately to the supervisor
- Drive any company car as instructed by the management according to the driver’s license card.
- Follow all traffic regulations and ensure the driver’s license is valid at all times and renew before expiry date.
- Ensure all vehicles driven are in good condition and meet all traffic laws as per The Traffic and Road Safety Act, 1998 (Amendment) Act, 2018
- Ensure the vehicles driven are clean at all times.
- Display discipline on the road and to the passengers driven in order to maintain the company’s image.
- Keep daily mileage reports and submit them to the supervisor.
- Ensure the cars assigned to be driven are always fueled and make requests for fuel when they about to run out.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
