Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Verify passengers' travel documents including passports, visas, residence permits, and other entry requirements before departure
- Confirm authenticity and validity of travel documents using verification systems and reference tools
- Detect and identify fraudulent, altered, expired, or invalid travel documents
- Escalate suspicious or non-compliant documentation to Supervisor and relevant authorities
- Ensure compliance with immigration regulations, airline procedures, and destination country entry requirements
- Verify destination-specific travel requirements including health documentation, vaccination certificates, and transit requirements
- Support investigations involving fraudulent travel documentation in collaboration with airport authorities and immigration officials
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation relating to document verification activities
- Coordinate with airport authorities, ground handling agents, and internal departments
- Assist in managing passengers affected by travel document issues while maintaining excellent customer service
- Provide support for VIP, special assistance, and other designated passengers when required
- Keep abreast of changes in immigration regulations, visa requirements, and international travel restrictions
