Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
The person will have strategic and operational leadership over the entire branch infrastructure and resources within their designated division. They will be responsible for ensuring sales targets are achieved, and that all sales channels are effectively and efficiently utilized to generate revenue. They will identify new business opportunities and drive market share. They will also ensure strong stake holder relationship management and uphold the company brand and reputation within their division. This person will report to the Head of Commercial.

Sales Strategy Development:
Collaborate with senior management to develop sales strategies, goals, and objectives for the division.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales growth and market expansion.
Develop sales plans and initiatives to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
Sales Team Management:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals within the division.
Set clear sales targets, performance goals, and KPIs for the sales team.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to sales representatives to help them achieve their targets and develop professionally.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, clients, and accounts within the division.
Identify customer needs, preferences, and challenges to tailor sales strategies and solutions accordingly.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day sales operations within the division, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics to support sales activities and initiatives.
Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Manage inventory levels, replenishment, and distribution to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
Coordinate with supply chain partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Implement inventory management systems and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for expansion within the division.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to explore new business ventures and partnerships.
Participate in business development activities such as networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the division's products and services.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the division.
Monitor expenses, revenue streams, and financial performance to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Implement pricing strategies, discount policies, and promotions to maximize sales revenue and margins.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
Prepare regular reports, presentations, and updates for senior management on sales performance, operational efficiency, and market dynamics.
Provide insights, recommendations, and actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and achieve divisional objectives.

Honor's degree in business management or a related discipline.
A post graduate qualification in a related field.
Master's degree in business management or related field is of advantage.
Professional certification in sales, marketing or related fields is of advantage.
Experience & knowledge:
Minimum of six years' sound experience in sales, marketing, distribution and operations in the financial services sector, telecom industry or FMCG industry. Experience in the payroll lending sec- tor is of advantage.
At least four years' experience in a managerial / strategic position in a fast-paced business environment overseeing the sales function.
Strong management skills are a core requirement.
Experience in digitization to drive sales is an advantage. Strong leadership skills and high level of capacity to influence, engage and motivate a young and diverse team to inspire out- standing performance.
Must be a strategic thinker and innovative.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
