Job Description

Bridges to Prosperity is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and drive support for our mission to alleviate poverty through rural infrastructure programs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage digital marketing expertise to make a tangible impact on communities worldwide.

Digital Marketing Campaigns 30%

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate interest among social impact backers.

  • Assist the marketing team in creating compelling content for digital platforms, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, email newsletters, and multimedia assets that resonate with target audiences and convey our mission effectively.


Channel Management 25%

  • Monitor and optimize all digital channels, including the website, social media platforms, email marketing, and paid advertising, to maximize engagement and conversion rates.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, and proactively recommend innovative approaches to reach and engage target audiences.


Performance Analysis 25%

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across digital channels, using insights to refine strategies and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

  • Provide regular reports on digital marketing performance to the Senior HQ Marketing & Communications Manager, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.


Collaboration 10%

  • Effectively collaborate with teams across the organization to align digital marketing initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.

  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed, contributing expertise in digital marketing to enhance our overall impact and reach.


Professional Development 10%

  • Contribute to setting and monitoring of quarterly departmental objectives and key results.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Proficiency in Canva design strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Sprout Social, Google Analytics, and MailChimp.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content for diverse audiences.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and optimize campaign performance accordingly.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Passion for social impact and a commitment to Bridges to Prosperity's mission of alleviating poverty through infrastructure development.


Working Conditions:

This position is remote or hybrid depending on the applicant's location, with option to work in our offices in Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Kenya, or Denver, Colorado. Due to the global nature of our work and our stakeholder communities, evening and weekend hours may be required, as well as rural international travel.
