Job Description

The Digital Communications Assistant will play a central role in producing and managing engaging content across digital platforms to highlight Ipas Nigeria’s mission and impact. The role includes crafting compelling digital content, maintaining the organization’s website, supporting campaign implementation, and analyzing engagement metrics to refine strategies. The Assistant will collaborate with the communications team to ensure brand consistency, support knowledge management, contribute to proposal concepts, and enhance the appeal of Ipas Nigeria’s communication products. This position also requires creativity, technical expertise in digital content design, and strong project management skills to deliver timely, high-quality communications.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital communications.

  • Expertise in digital content design, illustrations, infographics, and layouts.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Canva, and Wondershare.

  • Experience in digital photography, videography, and video editing.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent command of English.

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in producing high-quality communications.

  • Creative, innovative thinker with proven project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality outputs.

  • Initiative and willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.

Desirable Criteria

  • Prior experience in a communications or media role for an international organization.
