Job Description
To coordinate all cargo declarations and transshipment activities for exports and imports through our Transit Yard.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customs declarations for exports, imports and transshipments.
- Manage transshipment accounts and documentation in compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate classification, valuation, and declaration of goods.
- Liaise with customs, port/airport authorities, shipping lines, forwarders and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely clearance of cargo through our Transit Yard.
- Maintain accurate records and filing of all declarations and permits.
- Ensure adherence to QHSSE requirements while running operations.
- Advise clients on customs and transit procedures for smooth clearance.
