Job Description
Support financial operations and oversee accounts assistants for a growing cacao social enterprise in Uganda.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Support and oversee the work of 4-5 Accounts Assistants (training, weekly work plans, performance management, review and approval of work prior to finalization)
- Coordination of 2 week and 4 week cash requirements planning at each branch
- Review payments accountability prior to approval
- Organize, submit and setup bank payments for approval
- Complete entry and expense categorization for all transactions in Odoo
- Complete Bank and Inventory (raw materials, packaging, finished goods, WIP) reconciliations
- Ensure operational team members complete their Odoo entries on daily basis for weekly reconciliation
- BOL and MM payment setup, review and approval as needed
- Support AA to reconcile retail sales and inventory, produce weekly and monthly reports
- Support AAs to organize and follow-up on AR/AP
- Support completion of annual audit
- Carry out routine audit of inventories and expenses
- Support tracking and reporting for grants, loans, investors, partners and donors
