Job Description
As a Credit Officer you will be responsible for managing and assessing loan applications, ensuring that applicants meet the required creditworthiness standards. They work closely with clients to evaluate financial information, review credit history, and verify necessary documentation. Their primary objective is to minimize risk for the lender by conducting detailed assessments, making recommendations, and supporting loan disbursements.

How to Apply
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Assessment: Evaluate loan applications, analyze credit data, financial statements, and other necessary documentation to assess applicants' ability to repay loans.
Client Interaction: Meet with potential clients to discuss loan requirements, explain terms and conditions, and answer questions regarding the lending process.
Risk Management: Conduct credit checks, verify employment, assess collateral, and analyze debt-to-income ratios to determine risk levels and recommend approval or denial.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loan applications, approvals, denials, and other transactions.
Collections Support: Assist with delinquent accounts by coordinating with the collections department and implementing strategies to reduce overdue payments.
Compliance: Ensure all loan processes adhere to company policies, as well as local laws and regulations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate must be holding a Bachelor’s degree in any business-related course from a reputable University.
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in credit management
Candidates must be below 25 years of age.
Skills
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Effective communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of financial regulations and credit analysis tools
