Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to support our finance and credit operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for an early-career professional or recent graduate interested in credit analysis, reconciliation, and data management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate payment tracking, data integrity, and credit reporting, contributing to Zembo’s mission of making sustainable transport accessible.

How to Apply
1. Payment Reconciliation
Perform daily reconciliation of client payments against loan schedules.
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in payments.
Collaborate with internal teams—and occasionally clients—to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Maintain accurate and updated payment records in the system.
2. Credit & Account Support
Assist the credit team in maintaining clean, reliable client account data.
Compile reports on arrears, outstanding balances, and payment trends.
Support tasks such as document verification, account updates, and reconciliation.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives for credit monitoring and reporting.
3. Sales Data & MIS Reporting
Track and maintain data related to sales, down payments, contracts, and client onboarding.
Support the development of automated dashboards and tools for the sales and credit teams.
Generate periodic reports to inform business decisions.
Identify trends or discrepancies and recommend improvements to align sales and credit workflows.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong numeracy, logic, and analytical thinking.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a willingness to quickly learn new tools.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Self-driven with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
A curious and learning-oriented mindset.
Preferred (But Not Required)
Basic understanding of credit operations (e.g., repayment schedules, credit limits).
Experience with reconciliation processes or financial reporting tools.
Exposure to data tools like SQL or CRM systems.
