Cost Accounting & Product Costing: Ensure accurate product cost determination and analysis by maintaining cost structures, standard costing, and cost component tracking within the SAP system to support effective pricing, profitability, and cost control decisions.

• Maintain and monitor product cost structures including BOM and routing cost components in SAP.
• Perform standard cost calculation and update standard costs periodically
• Ensure regular and spot stock counts and checks are conducted in a timely manner.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead cost components.
• Ensure correct cost element mapping and cost center allocation.
• Support product cost roll-up and cost estimate release in SAP.
• SAP Costing & System Controls: Ensure accurate and controlled flow of manufacturing cost data in SAP by maintaining costing structures, validating system integrations, and enforcing proper financial postings across production, materials, and finance modules
• Maintain SAP cost centers, internal orders, and cost elements related to manufacturing.
• Support SAP configuration for product costing and manufacturing cost flows.
• Validate integration between PP, MM, and FI modules impacting costing.
• Ensure accurate postings from Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, and Production Confirmation.

Financial Reporting & Record Keeping (Inventory): Ensure accurate inventory valuation and financial reporting by maintaining proper recording, reconciliation, and monitoring of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods within the SAP systems

• Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods valuation.
• Track manufacturing variances (price, quantity, mix, yield).
• Analyze production order variances and coordinate with production team.
• Monitor and report daily stock levels, flagging anomalies promptly.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
• Support monthly inventory reconciliation and physical stock verification.
• Support in identifying and reducing obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
• Ensure proper cost allocation to batches and production orders
• Perform monthly manufacturing cost closing activities in SAP.
• Analyze production variances and prepare variance reports.
• Support inventory valuation during month-end closing.
• Prepare cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis.

Cost Optimization & Business Partnering: Drive manufacturing cost efficiency by partnering with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and support data-driven operational and pricing decisions

• Work with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to optimize manufacturing costs.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities in material usage and production efficiency.
• Support new product costing and profitability analysis.
• Provide cost insights for pricing decisions.
• Provide plant management with actionable cost insights.

Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate cost records, documentation, and providing timely support for internal and external audits

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.

• Maintain documentation for cost assumptions and costing methodology.
• Ensure adherence to standard costing policies.
