Job Description
The Corporate Communication Interns will support KDIC’s Corporate Affairs department in implementing communication strategies, preparing content for media and public engagement, and enhancing the organization’s brand visibility. The internship is designed to provide practical hands-on experience in media relations, advertising, branding, and internal communication within a public sector environment.

How to Apply
Assist in drafting press releases, newsletters, and corporate communication materials.
Support the organization and coverage of corporate events and campaigns.
Help manage KDIC’s social media presence and online platforms.
Contribute to the preparation of promotional and branding materials.
Assist in monitoring media coverage and preparing reports.
Support internal communication initiatives within the Corporation.
Perform other communication-related tasks as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Graduated within the last three (3) years.
Must be unemployed and with no prior relevant work experience.
Must not have benefited from a similar internship program.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Creativity and ability to generate engaging content.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team and adapt to dynamic work environments.
Additional Requirements for Successful Candidates:
Valid personal medical insurance cover (NHIF or reputable provider).
Registration with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation.
Personal accident insurance for the duration of the internship.
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN.
