Job Description
Are you a sharp, business-minded lawyer ready to shape the legal backbone of a fast-growing telecoms business in Uganda? We’re looking for a Junior Corporate/Commercial Lawyer who can combine strong technical skills with commercial insight to support our commercial contracting processes and ensure regulatory excellence.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including distribution, leasing, procurement and technology contracts.
- Support regulatory compliance and interactions with the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).
- Provide legal support for new product launches, commercial initiatives, ESG matters and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, competition, consumer protection, and sector-specific laws.
