Job Description
This role involves organizing and controlling all contract-related processes including strategy development, pre-qualification, tender analysis, contract negotiation, and documentation. The engineers will interface with regulators (NUIMS, NCDMB) and partners, drive cost-saving initiatives, and mitigate project risks. They will also support dispute resolution, contract performance monitoring, and compliance with statutory and company HSEQ standards. Additionally, the role requires effective use of Supply Chain tools such as SAP, ARIBA, NIPEX, and AGORA to maintain accurate and auditable records.

How to Apply
Prepare, negotiate, award, and administer contracts for services, goods, and works.
Organize pre-qualifications, tendering, evaluation, and contractual documentation.
Interface with regulators (NUIMS, NCDMB) and partners to resolve clarifications.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors/suppliers and monitor performance.
Deploy TGP strategies locally and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
Pursue cost savings under the 3C program without compromising safety or quality.
Provide advice to stakeholders on contract planning, management, and performance.
Ensure compliance with procurement laws, supply chain rules, and HSEQ standards.
Support dispute resolution and claims settlement in collaboration with Legal.
Contribute to Lean initiatives and continuous improvement processes.
Prepare and present Contract Committee submissions.
Maintain updated records in the Master Procurement Plan and contract trackers.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or Social Sciences (Supply Chain preferred).
Membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
1–5 years’ experience in oil well construction activities, with at least 3 years in contract administration.
Strong knowledge of commercial, legal, and insurance issues in the oil & gas industry.
Proficiency in Supply Chain tools (SAP, ARIBA, UNISUP, NIPEX, AGORA).
Excellent communication skills and good command of English.
