FHI 360 seeks a consultant for a 20-day project in Kampala, Uganda. The role involves upgrading the Ministry of Health's Knowledge Management Portal to enhance its functionality and usability, ensuring efficient dissemination of health sector knowledge products.
Assessment and Analysis
Understanding Client Needs: Meeting with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.
Data Collection: Gathering relevant data and information through research, interviews, surveys, and other methods.
Analysis: Analyzing the collected data to identify problems, trends, and opportunities.
Strategy Development
Solution Design: Developing strategies and solutions tailored to the client's specific issues.
Recommendation: Providing recommendations and actionable plans to address the client's challenges.
Implementation Support
Implementation Planning: Assisting in the planning and execution of the proposed strategies.
Project Management: Managing projects, including timelines, resources, and budget considerations.
Change Management: Supporting clients in managing organizational change and ensuring a smooth transition.
Training and Coaching
Knowledge Transfer: Training client staff on new systems, processes, or practices.
Coaching: Providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure successful implementation.
Evaluation and Monitoring
Performance Measurement: Monitoring the effectiveness of the implemented solutions.
Feedback: Gathering feedback and making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of four years' experience in systems setup and web development.
Experience with DHIS2 and health systems preferred.
