Job Description

The role involves designing and implementing compensation and benefits models, managing payroll accounting and reconciliation, supporting employees on compensation policies and procedures, and driving automation and data analytics for payroll efficiency. The Analyst will also participate in industry surveys, remuneration campaigns, and ensure compliance with regulations, while maintaining accurate payroll records and financial reporting.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Compensation & Benefits Process Automation and Analytics

    • Design and implement new models for compensation and benefits aligned with company objectives.

    • Automate compensation and benefits processes and introduce data analytics for payroll efficiency.

    • Recommend and implement system improvements to enhance accuracy and timeliness.

    • Collaborate with IST and HRIS teams to integrate payroll data with other systems.

  • Payroll Accounting and Management

    • Oversee payroll data processing, analysis, auditing, and reconciliation.

    • Ensure accuracy of payroll transactions and maintain payroll-related GL accounts.

    • Provide payroll data for audits, partner budget defense, and management forecasts.

    • Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting of payroll costs.

    • Ensure compliance with payroll and tax regulations.

  • Employee Support

    • Advise staff on compensation policies, calculations, benefits, and deductions.

    • Handle inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and distribute payroll-related materials.

    • Supervise timesheet processing and adjustments in the payroll system.

  • Compensation & Benefits Campaigns

    • Coordinate annual Capital Increase Campaigns for staff and retirees.

    • Manage loan booking, recovery, cash payment verification, and reconciliation.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Accountancy, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Economics, or Finance.

  • MBA is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ work experience.

  • Strong numeric and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, databases, information systems, and HRIS.

  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR regulations, payroll systems, and payroll accounting.
