Are you passionate about climate justice and skilled in strategic communication?Join Fridays for Future Uganda as our Communications Officer and help drive impactful storytelling, brand visibility, and community engagement in the fight against climate change.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement communication strategies that align with our climate justice goals
Manage social media platforms and digital campaigns to engage and grow our audience
Create compelling content — from graphics to videos to written stories — that inspires action
Support branding and advocacy efforts across national and international platforms
Collaborate with youth networks, NGOs, and climate activists to amplify our message

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
What We’re Looking For:
A strong understanding of climate change and climate justice
Experience working with NGOs, youth-led movements, or advocacy organizations
Proven skills in social media management, content creation, and digital storytelling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
