Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough physical examinations and take medical histories.
Diagnose illnesses and medical conditions.
Interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies.
Treatment and Management:
Prescribe and administer medications.
Develop and implement treatment plans for various health conditions.
Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care.
Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
Emergency Care:
Provide first aid and emergency medical care.
Stabilize patients and manage acute conditions.
Refer patients to higher-level care facilities when necessary.

Completion of a diploma or degree program in clinical medicine and surgery or a related field from a recognized institution.
Basic education requirements typically include a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensure and Certification:
Registration with the relevant medical or clinical officers’ regulatory body.
Licensure to practice as a clinical officer in the respective region or country.
Clinical Experience:
Practical experience gained through supervised clinical placements during training.
On-the-job experience in a clinical setting, such as a hospital or health clinic.
