Job Description

The Client Manager will play a central role in managing client accounts across various industries, focusing on Digital Network Services. The position involves understanding clients’ strategic goals, identifying opportunities, and providing customized solutions that leverage NTT DATA’s extensive portfolio. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a strong background in IT services, business development, and customer relationship management.
Key aspects of this role include expanding client portfolios, achieving sales and margin targets, using CRM tools (Salesforce.com) for data management, coordinating internal teams across geographies, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This hybrid position requires strategic planning, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with local and global teams to meet commercial objectives.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with regional clients to drive expansion, renewals, and client satisfaction.

  • Develop and execute account strategies that align client needs with NTT DATA’s service offerings.

  • Achieve revenue, margin, and retention targets within assigned accounts.

  • Identify new business opportunities, generate demand, and convert client needs into actionable sales solutions.

  • Collaborate with NTT DATA’s global network of offices to ensure seamless service delivery and consistent client experience.

  • Leverage Salesforce.com and other sales tools to manage pipelines, forecasts, and account performance.

  • Conduct vulnerability analyses against competitors to refine client solutions and maintain competitive advantage.

  • Lead client engagement throughout the entire lifecycle—from acquisition to renewal.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, governance frameworks, and international trade regulations.

  • Act as the first point of contact for client escalations, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

  • Support the implementation of digital transformation initiatives that enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Relevant vendor certifications in IT, telecommunications, or digital services are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in client management, sales, or business development within the IT or professional services industry.

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in sales and customer engagement, preferably in global organizations.

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and managing complex accounts.

  • Proficiency in using Salesforce.com and other CRM platforms.
