Qualifications, Education and Competencies
The Child Accelerated Trauma Therapy (CATT) Project Officer will be responsible for coordinating trauma therapy programs for children. Reporting to the Health Project Officer, the officer will ensure the effective implementation of CATT programs, provide training and support to community health workers, and monitor the impact of the interventions on children's mental health.

Program Coordination: Oversee the implementation of Child Accelerated Trauma Therapy programs, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Training and Support: Train and support community health workers in trauma therapy techniques to provide effective support to children.
Impact Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the impact of CATT programs on children's mental health, using data for continuous improvement.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the Health Program Manager and other stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.
Child Protection: Ensure adherence to child protection and safeguarding principles in all program activities.

Bachelor's degree/diploma in Psychology/ACTI Accredited CATT Trainer/CATT Counsellor, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing child trauma therapy programs.
Training and certification in trauma-focused interventions.
Ability to train and support community health workers in trauma therapy techniques.
Strong commitment to child protection and safeguarding principles.
