Kakira Outgrowers Development Fund (KORD) ❘ Experience, Skills and competencies:
is an NGO and an innovative partnership between Kakira Sugar Ltd and the Busoga Sugarcane Growers Association (BSGA) that manages the identification and delivery of infrastructure projects and financial services to Outgrowers communities.
KORD's initial focus is on (1) facilitating the provision of loans to Outgrower farmers; (ii) investing in healthcare facilities; (iii) investing in road infrastructure, and (iv) investing in projects to diversify the activities of Outgrower farmers.
We seek to recruit a dynamic, competent, and experienced Ugandan national for the post of Chief Executive Officer

Reporting to KORD's Board (consisting of Sugar Factory and Outgrowers representatives), who will have overall responsibility for the initiative; and
Developing a strategy for KORD that sets out the organization's approach to meet Out grower's and community needs;
Providing day-to-day operational leadership for the organization, including managing 2-4 professionals, raising finance from donors and government

University degree in Administration, Engineering, Finance, Agricultural or Social Sciences, or other relevant fields.
Five years of professional work experience as a Senior Manager in the civil society, private or public sector, ideally within the infrastructure industry within Uganda
Excellent leadership, communication, presentational, and negotiating skills;
Excellent command of spoken and written English. Fluency in the local language would be an added advantage.
Versatility, judgment, maturity, and the ability to work both on the team and independently. • Have a good reputation and credibility with Local Government officials, as well as the community as a whole.
Experience in the agribusinesses within Uganda would be an added advantage. Age: Above 40 years
