GreenDove Supermarket is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team! As the face of our Supermarket, you’ll ensure smooth, accurate transactions and create a warm, welcoming experience for every customer.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
Scan, bag, and process purchases using POS systems.
Handle cash, Visa card, mobile money, and voucher payments accurately.
Issue receipts and change due to customers.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at checkout.
Assist with shelf stocking, price checks, and inventory counts.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
Reconcile cash drawer at beginning and end of shift.
Follow procedures for cash handling, safety, and loss prevention.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a cashier or in customer service is a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Trustworthy, punctual, and well-presented.
