Job Description
Job Title: Cashier (Fresher Jobs)
Organisation: Fourteen Twenty
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: To handle all cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced bar/restaurant environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Process customer payments using POS systems, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change accurately.
Maintain a balanced cash drawer and prepare end-of-shift reports.
Greet customers, answer basic queries about menu items, and promote specials or loyalty programs.
Collaborate with servers and bartenders to ensure smooth order flow and billing.
Follow opening and closing cashiering procedures.
Adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling, security, and customer service.
Assist with light duties such as menu cleaning, stocking takeaway items, or supporting colleagues during peak hours.
