Job Description
The Business Manager will lead and expand the Liquefied Gas portfolio, ensuring alignment with AL’s SSA and WBL commercial policies. This includes overseeing business development initiatives, strategic partnerships, and operational compliance. The role requires managing budgets, ensuring profitability, driving client and stakeholder relationships, and embedding industrial best practices across business development and operations. The manager will also handle project planning and execution, ensuring contractual obligations are met on time and within scope while adhering to Nigerian and international Oil & Gas standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
ead the development of sustainable Life Infrastructure business in Nigeria.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Drive approval processes for projects at SSA, Selection Committee, ZPR, and RIC levels.
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with HSE and IMS standards.
Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Build and maintain strong client, partner, and regulatory relationships.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian Oil & Gas regulations (NNPC, DPR/NUPRC, and local content laws).
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.
Lead planning, execution, and tracking of projects to ensure timely delivery.
Manage contracts effectively, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social or Management Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
Experience: 10–15 years of progressive experience in business development and operations within the Oil & Gas sector, with a strong record in strategy, project, and contract management.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability.
Expertise in business economics and financial management.
Knowledge of safety, quality, and reliability standards.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
